Problem with garage opener on SERG
« on: September 14, 2009, 09:26:31 AM »

Put one in the Fairing a couple of months and it has worked fine ever since. Used it last night and was ok. Tried to close it this am going to work and nothing happened. Any ideas where to start looking? I can't see the transmitter its in the fairing.
By the way the dealer wired it up. I only hooked up the reciever at home.

Sometimes I have to point the bike towards the direction of the door.

Also you can try to reprogram it to the module (reciever) that is plugged into the wall.

I had the module (reciever) go bad a few years ago and HD replaced free of charge.

Try those 2 easy solutions then go on to something else.
