Has anyone painted the headlight trim??
« on: October 12, 2009, 05:24:48 PM »

Has anyone painted (to match fairing) the trim piece around the headlights on a 2009 SERG? Orange, Yellow, or Silver doesn't matter, and do you have any pictures?

Put one on a 2000 triple red SERG and you don't need to paint it.  The midnight red in the outer fairing is so dark the headlight trim looks like it belongs there :2vrolijk_21: .

Nice :drink: !

Did you notice the thread on changing the front pancake light housings to the flamed bullets?  I think they go real well with our fairings.

It's not quite a direct bolt on.  You have to convince some parts they need to go in a way other than they were originally intended to go.  But nothing dramatic nor terribly difficult.  Log in to the other site if you haven't yet.  Best documentation of the install is there.  Starting at post #24 in this thread:
