09 SERG Lowers
« on: October 13, 2009, 09:40:13 AM »

Hey guys I've never owned a bike with lowers and thinking about a set of black ones for the 09. Any pros and cons? Will the bike handle as well? Will the engine run hotter? Will it keep wind off me and the BSR? thanks

Several threads on lowers here if you can find them. My opinion is that they are a great thing. The RG's though didn't have vents which sucked. Several added aftermarket vents and they were pleased w/ them. I've got lowers on my EG and that's what I ride when it's cold or wet. I will definitely be getting them for my RG.

I seem to recall something about some aftermarket vents. Will do some research. I could just take them off in the summer. I guess my biggest concern is since I've never rode with them, I'm wondering how confining they will be with #13 feet?

thanks Greg. Just put the HID's from extreme on. They are not as bright as I expected. On to some type of bright running light.
