grip vibration
« on: January 30, 2006, 03:31:43 PM »

Has anyone experienced a bad vibration in a grip. I have a miserable one developing in
my left grip area over 4500 rpm's. I dont know if its the grip or if its coming from farther
up the bar. I cant find anything loose. just looking to save a trip to the shop...

I put in the polyurethane riser bushings (56165-03). I think it helped. At first I tightened the bolts to the high end, about 180 in-lbs, but like it better at the low end, around 144 in.- lbs. I don't spend more than about an hour at 4,000 rpm in high gear. It pulls on my neck to much.
