i have a 2009 cvo road glide (silver) i have lowers on it now.i would like to upgrade to
the 2010 new style vented lowers. somebody helped me out (on this site) and gave me a
part #58854-09czb  or  58854-05czb - so i tried to order them from lombardi harley davidson
in si,ny and they said no such part number (can somebody help me out and tell me if the part
number i have is right or can you give the right number and paint code)

thank you,but thats not it.i need the part # to the vented lowers plus the paint code.
i heard that they can be purchased from h/d in color

The unprimed lowers are part #58854-05.  As far as paint codes go, they don't give them out.

You are probably having difficulty trying to order CVO color (the three letter suffix) vented lowers for your '09 because the vented lowers won't fit your '09 without changing the fairing mount hardware referenced in an earlier post, and the CVO color would only be availabe for the non-vented lowers that will fit your bike.  In essence, CVO color-matched vented lowers for your bike would be a custom paint project given HD's fitment parameters.
