I have the CVO Ultra with the oil cooler, and a chrome base cover.  Between the tow of them and the crank sensor It is almost impossible to use my filter wrench over the end of the filter.  Solved the problem with my grinder.  I just opened up the side of the filter wench completely so it clears every thing.  Just though I would mention it.  The wrench works fine, never had one so tight I could not get it off.
