Hi Mike  - IMO the answer here is no. The reason for larger sized speakers is to move more air to provide MORE sound in the lower Hz range ... bass range. Mid and high range tone (which is most of what we hear at speed) theoretically does not need larger spks.

How can you even remember what yours sounds like its been in cold storage for months because of the snow. LOL Did you have a good Holiday? Iwas in Middletown for Christmas and got snowed in for 4 days. Great fun!

300W BAZOOKA amp, 6x8 infinity kappa speakers w/ rideloud adapters, oh, and 5.25 infinity's in my lower fairings. way loud and proud

  Got great results form this combination.  Hush mat installed on the inner and outer fairing, 6.5" speaker adaptors from Full Throttle, Hawg Wired 150w amp, And Focal K2 speakers.
