Met on the way to Cripple Creek
« on: August 23, 2006, 07:08:37 PM »

I called a buddy today, that had hooked me up with the transportation for the CC ride and got my bike to Park City.

Same here Roger

I just lifted Craig and his wife up in prayer. I prayed for a strength thru out as their injuries heal. Sorry to hear about it. Let us know how they are doing as you hear something. Thanks Bro, God Bless!

Thanks JR and d00d, hard to figure but I know with all the posts in this new section I am sure watching the intersections and turn signals more than ever.

I don't know them but I don't have to.....to be able to relate.  They've got my prayers for a quick and speedy recovery.

Totally agree, it is unsettling.  The NY Highway ad is a good one and hopefully we see more of it in other states.

Life is full of uncertainties. One thing is for certain, if you ride long enough you will probably have an accident or at least one "close call". I have had several close calls, but have been blessed enough not to have had an accident yet. But you have to be on your toes, or as I like to put it "keep your radar on at all times" because you never know what the guy in the car or truck is going to do. It doesn't matter if you are in the right if you are dead right. So everyone ride safe and hug your wife and kids daily.

Thak you for all the positive remarks and prayers.

Both Craig and his wife are doing much better.  The road rash was actually minimal, no one knows why really.

Craig got home on Wed evening and Thursday while his son took mom to a check up, Craig decided to go for a walk....duh, drugs were doing the thinking.  Needless to say he spent Friday on his a$$.  Hopefully they will drive home to Seattle mid week, roughly two weeks after the accident.  He is recovering in his Park City home now.

On and off about riding but mostly on, although mom may be a tougher sell about getting on a bike again, time will tell.
