I have my outer and inner primaries off for another project, discussed in other threads. I'm replacing seals and gaskets as preventive maintenance while I'm in there. Been fortunate, no leaks.

The starter jack shaft changed after 2006. I don't see where/how the starter/transmission seal can be changed. Any help?

There is an o-ring on the nose of the starter that seals the inner to starter surface.
