size of stock handlebars on 2013 SERK?
« on: October 06, 2013, 12:28:35 PM »

Anybody know the height and pullback of the stock bars? Are they 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" diameter bars?
I think I need some taller bars and might decide to go with 14" ape hangers. my left hand wants to go to sleep while riding. It hasn't done that with my previous bikes. Anybody know of some taller bars with a neutral wrist angle? I hate bars that bend your wrist in or out. I want to keep my wrist straight. Thanks BR

Not a guarantee and I'm not positive, but I found this information: height is 8", pullback is 13", diameter is 1 1/4",width is 32". I am not having any issues, but I too would like bars with a more neutral wrist angle. I am still looking. Any suggestions would be appreciated =) . Looking at Chubby brand bars.

Same here. I think  I will order 3 sizes from Wild ones and see what works. All the measurements on there site still don't tell how much closer the bars will be.    Will let you know what I find out      Billy

I am running 14" Paul Yaffee monkey bars on my 12 CVO road Glide.  Really thinking hard about putting them on the 13 CVO King.  The are a comfortable bar, keep my hands about 1 inch below my shoulders.  The wrist angle is good for me too.

How tall are you? whats you're sleeve length? what seat are you using?  I've heard yaffee  bars have a good wrist angle.
anyone know what degree of wrist angle is considered neutral? I seem to recall around 40 is around neutral but i may be wrong.

That maybe the best way to get the bars you want. I hate buying stuff site unseen.

Thanks for the info. It seems about right.

I am 6'1" with a 35" inseam.  33 sleeve length.  I am running a Corbin classic solo on the CVO road glide.  I run my bars in line with the forks, not 100% vertical.

On my King I will be running the stock CVO seat, I had it modified with a rider back rest and a gel pad put in it.  But it is stock height and width.

I would be interested it trying that.   Billy

I too dislike the stock bar on the 13 SERK.  Have asked on the web here but have found no luck.  I'm not to interested in apes but will consider what I can  find.
I would just like to change the wrist angle. IF that is possible without replacing the  throttle assembly or the clutch hose to a longer setup , that would be sweet. Any help would be appreciated

I'd also like to find a bar with a better wrist angle without having to extend the wires and brake/clutch lines.
anyone have any luck yet?
