passenger backrest

my backrest on the tourpac vibrates so much it is wearing the paint on the tourpac lid....the bushings dont seem to be broken or worn ,,,wanted to see if anyone had this issue and their fix for it...happy holidays to all!!!!

 Mine does the same thing I got some wide 3m clear tape and put on the tour pack.

My backrest came with just the hard plastic "feet" sitting on the tour-pak lid, with two small pieces of clear tape on the paint.  At certain rpm's the backrest vibrated on the lid, making a loud noise.  I found some 1/8" thick self-adhesive rubber, cut out two small pieces, and stuck them to the lid where the "feet" of the backrest touched.

well this weekend I removed the backrest,Made-2custom stainless spacers,and replaced the 2 top mounting bushings with them,,I diddnot remove the bottom bushing, left that for some vibration control,,,and man that baby dos'nt budge..I think it needed some stability too it,,and dont have too worrry abouit anymore paint loss,,ride-on,Headpan
