Use of a pulley 30t on touring on 2013

Hello,

I shall like having your felt on the use of a pulley of 30 teeth on a recent touring.
I saw the comment on the modification of the oscillating arm, but nothing on the conduct(driving).

My original secondary gearing was 32/65 with  a 133 tooth  belt. Originally the axle was about 1/4" from all the way forward in the adjustment slot. I went to 30/65 and was able to use the stock 133 belt. The axle moved about the center of the adjustment slot (1/4" more to the rear). Yes the belt  tension is correct. I have 6 speed over drive gearset. I like it! Alot! gearing is as follows. 36/25= 1.44 Primary  65/30= 2.166 Secondary. Overall  1.44x2.166= 3.12  with 5 speed then got a 6 speed OD gearset final ratio is 3.12x.89= 2.77 Final ratio. 118HP@5600 RPM and 124TQ@3800 RPM Bike weighs 580lbs. FXR4 CVO it Rocks!

Thank you for this information.
Since then, I ran(drove) with the motorcycle and it please me a lot.
These reports(relationships) are better adapted to our sinuous roads. :-*
