Long ago in the good old days - Oct 2011, I think - I believe my stock numbers were 87hp, 103tq. Need to drag out the run sheet, can't remember if it was STD or SAE, or what gear.
Have added a couple things since...

What can I do to wake it up a bit with out redoing the whole top end?
-
1. Make sure credit card has ample room for upgrades
2. New head pipe, slip ons and tuner
3. Find a good tuner/dyno
4. Pay off credit card so you can do more as listed below
5. Look into cams, lifters and headwork but if you can work this into #3, you don't have to pay a tuner twice.
6. Pay off credit card and get a limit increase as you read more about hp/tq increases on this site.
7. Have fun. :2vrolijk_21:

By far, the least expensive option IMO, and the most "bang for the buck" is to put the Fullsac X Pipe and 2" cores in your stock cans, along with the TTS Mastertune and canned map. That should get you in the neighborhood of 95HP and 110TQ, maybe a tad more. Makes a big difference in the seat of the pants feels, but more importantly makes drivability better. If you do the work yourself, you can do all that for < $1100. About a 10% increase is reasonable for expectations. There are variations on that theme, but that will get you there with the least amount of money out of pocket. The next step would be to change the cam. Next would be cam and a head gasket/head work. Beyond that, the only limit is your pocketbook and finding a builder you can trust. IMO, if you start increasing power dramatically, you need to tear the whole engine down and do some upgrades to the bottom end of the motor to support the increased HP/TQ. If you want it to be really reliable.

Thx for the replies. Already did the 2.0 baffles now going for the x-pipe and tts mastertune. We will see what happens after that...just want to wake her up, not break the land speed record ;D
