:jalapeno: my bike has arrived at the dealership. Picking it up in a few days. Been a long wait since the engine on my 2012 blew it's lot. :jalapeno:

I've had the 4 point docking kit and Sissy back rest fitted. Plus heated grips, DynoJet Power Commander V, the V & H Monster Rounds from my old ride and to give the front of the bike a sparkle I've had fitted chrome mirror surrounds with the indicators on the edge. Three days and I get to pick up the ride and a new chapter in my affair with HD starts.

Sweet Brother !!! Good Luck with the New Ride !!!!

Based upon the recommendation of a few if you on here I've taken out the five year warranty package. Once bitten twice shy. After my precious 2012 glide blew it's 110 engine after 3.5 years with 12000 on the clock I'm not going to be caught out again. Picking up the bike on Friday coming.

Congrats!!!

Beautiful! I love the tank badge on her. I wish they'd done something like that for the Road Glides.
Congratulations!

Compliments for Your new bike: it's awesome.

Bunch of metal in the sump. Think it was one of the cam lifters went, or a rod. Oil pissed out of the breather and through the exhaust. Then engine caught fire. I didn't waste any more money to strip the engine down. Cut my losses and got me a 2016 with 3 years extended warranty (which i didn't have on the 2012 unfortunately)

Nice!
Did it come with the back rest?
-
Nice! What mods you going with?

So far I've added some Mustang lid protectors., the adjustable deflectors beneath the batwing and the back rest I got for my 2012. I have issues fitting the solo seat luggage rack as its profile is too close to the fill in bits between fender and boxes. I've transferred the V&H monster rounds from my old bike and fitted DynaJet tuning package. Also black rear crash bars

Pictures later.
I need some small riding lights to light up the road when on main beam. Not really interested in the big lights like on the ultras. Any suggestions. .

A few pics of my ride.

Encountered the GM truck outside the barbers / ink shop

Adjustable wind baffles fitted

Mustang lid protectors & rear crash bars installed

The dash is awesome. Howver not getting on with the BoomBox GPS. Might revert to using a Garmin.
-
Did it come with the passenger back rest? Mine did not. My 12 Street Glide did but my 16 did not.

NO pillion back rest with the 2016. I had to buy that. The 2012 did come with the back rest though.

Glad to hear that I was hoping my stealer didn't rip me off, they have always treated me good
-
How much was it to add the heated grips? I just bought the e act same bike color and all😁

Glad I am not the only one struggling with the GPS. Already installed my Garmin to my bike much prefer this to the boom box set up.

The wiring harness on the SG is the same as Ultra. Buy the grips you like and plug in. Again, another MoCo $ Maker, buy a new bike- & put $10k more to make it what it "should" be. Tis the life...

I had the dealership fit the Airflow Heated Grips, # 56100107 . Catalogue price in the states is $269.95 and it says that the grips don't fit the CVO. But rest assured they do. :-) Just had to add an electrical connect # 69200722
