Vance and Hines FP3
« on: August 25, 2014, 06:52:48 PM »

Fitted the FP3 to my breakout the other day. All though not a lot of maps available for our model as yet, I used the closest to my setup and it improved throttle response and got rid of the deceleration popping. Had a few problems with fp3 connecting with my Iphone so I decided to try it using my tablet that uses android and had no problems what so ever. Will be doing an auto tune run tomorrow just for the fun of it.

Tried out the auto tune function today on the fp3. It was all quite easy to do. I rode 190km's and but didn't get all the VE table complete. I had to simulate taking off and slow riding to use the rev range cause there is no traffic lights or traffic line ups for over 100km's of me. Flashed the map with the new settings and changed the throttle response to more responsive and the bike has come alive.

I would recommend it to any one but can be a bit frustrating at times acquiring the Bluetooth link.
