Title: Tour Pak speakers on FLHXSE3?
Post by: Rocketman69 on May 29, 2012, 01:59:02 PM
Title says it all.   Ordered my color matched tour pak, and I'm considering putting speaker pods on her while I'm at it.  I know it seems silly, as the stereo system already kicks ass, but I hate the gap between the backrest and saddlebags when there's no pod there.

Anyone done it yet??

I have but never hooked them up because it is not needed but I think without the Pods it don't look good.

Guys,

I know I can buy dummy pods to fill the gaps, or put a set of speaker pods in that place to fill the ugly gap.......but I need to know if I can make them work.  There's no sense in putting speaker pods on that don't work.

Somebody has to have done this........

I have no doubt you can make it work, just depends on how much you want to spend.  You might search around in the in the Road Glide sections here, I know some of those guys have added King tour paks with speakers, but I honestly couldn't find any here amoung the SESG's
