SE Compensator p/n question
« on: March 04, 2017, 08:51:39 PM »

It's time to replace my compensator again and after reading for several hours I'm still not completely sure if I can get by with buying the new kit that doesnt include the rotor.
Back in 2010 I bought the 40274-08 kit which contains the 30041-08 rotor to replace the puny stock unit.

The new SE Comp Part Number 40100061 list the rotor as 30041-08A which makes me think I'm gonna need to spend the $400 as opposed to the $300 and buy the kit that includes the rotor.  Am I right?   What's the difference in the "A" rotor??

Can I ask what year fltr you have? I'm in the same boat. I recently bought the rotor you mentioned. Mine is an 08 and the kit listed for my year, includes the rotor. The kit that doesn't include the rotor, is listed to fit 2011 to 2013. Thanks for any and all help
