San Antonio TX trip

Wife and I have had a busy Nov.  We rode down to Apalachacola FL for the Seafood festival. Perfect weather the whole trip.  Came home for two days and then Rode out to San Antonio TX for a three day visit and home.  We only got lightly rained on for 50 miles, 100 miles from the house on the way home from TX.  Was nice to ride in Tee Shirts while in TX in the day time.  We did the 1150 miles down in two days, same coming home.  All said 4900 miles so far in Nov, almost half the 12790 miles on the bike since Feb.  Seems Nov is the only real time off I have had.

Hey Dave, I was in Apalachicola the 5,6,7&8th, was fishing then. We didn't take our bikes but wish we had as the wind was pretty rough. Saw alot of bikes. My friends wife and friend were at the festival. By the way, I met your wife at the Smoky Mountain H-D birthday party. Maybe one day we will meet. Take care and glad your getting some miles in.

My wife had said she met you there.

Apalachacola is a nice area to ride, we loved hwy 98 along the coast.  We had great riding weather, and it is only a 550 mile one day ride down.

We did go down to the riverwalk two night.  Do not miss that.  Dirty Nellys is a great irish pub, lots of fun oldest bar in continous service there.  Howell at the Moon is also great down there.

almost all of the downtown hotels park u in city garages.... the security in most of those sucks.... just a heads up
