Are the new screamin eagle lifters any good? Told dealer I wanted to change lifters when I installed cams and they suggested them instead of S&S.

The SE lifters can't even open the valves all the way.....worse lifters ever.....!!!!!! Now the SE lifter for the EVO was fine but the Twin Cam SE lifter is a joke, they bleed down in 7 to 8 seconds.

big surprise the dealer would tell you SE over S&S

Most dealers are brain washed that only HD branded parts are the best. I go quality aftermarket wherever possible to get a better part and not give any more money to HD or the dealer.. You'll mention a aftermaket part to the dealer and most give you a "deer in the headlight look".

Seriously doubt MOCO actually manufactures the lifters, more likely they're from Ling & Liau, LLC the low bidder. Just sayin. :soapbox:

They are trapped in the Moco box.
Have them use the S&S pieces. :2vrolijk_21:
