Anybody replaced the front brake caliper on their SSE? I did a search but didn't get any hits.

Sure would like to get rid of that ugly "two-handed" brake, and get a nice-looking two-finger system.

Thanks for the link. Did you use the Performance Machine 1230-0017? That's what PM pointed me to, but they weren't sure if it would clear the buttons on the floating rotor.

I used the same caliper, but the opposite side of the wheel so the part number is slightly different. For some reason H-D changed the side of the wheel that the caliper mounts to in 08. It fit fine and PM seems to know their stuff.

They came with pads. I put a similar set on my old Fatboy. Really like the PM brakes.

Thanks for all the info. I ordered the PM 4-piston; now I'll keep fingers crossed that it'll fit.
