I've been playing with a new bike and just got done replacing all the lighting, so forgot how the springer was setup.  Today I noticed that the front turn signals act as running lights, but the rears do not.  They do blink when I activate the turn signals.

Can you confirm if this is the way it was setup or if I have a problem?

I believe that is by default that the front are on as running lights and rear are not (that's the way my SEEG is and my '96 Fatboy before it). Might even be a DOT requirement. Easy way to verify is pull the bulbs the front should be dual filaments and the rear only one filament.

On my 08 they are ON in the front all the time (running lights) and off in the rear unless you have the turn signal on.

Thanks for the feedback.  Just glad to know I'm not going crazy and that the bike doesn't have a wiring problem 

Just changed all the lighting on the Ultra to LED and converted the rear signals to running/turn/brake lights as well.  Then I moved the Springer and when I looked on the back I went wait a minute... lol

I believe that is the USA domestic market set up for turn signals. ON international models all the turns signals are only used as turn signals, I once met a few guys from the USA armed forces stationed in Belgium and asked them about there turn signal running lights, they told me it was an option they requested when purchasing there bikes.........
