Anyone install a drop seat frame kit ?
« on: April 29, 2014, 06:16:22 PM »

I was thinking of installing one on my 2010 sesg, maybe BAGGER WERX, their website says you have to install a low pro tire and HD air shock kit ??????? :confused5:
Any advice good or bad is greatly appreciated, I just don't want to go into this with blinders on.

The only reason I stay away from it is I ride 2 up 75% of the time and it puts the BSR much higher then the driver.

I have one on my road glide, it's a Fat Baggers kit. Works great and no need for special shocks or tires. Stock 18" rear works fine.

Did you ever ride 2 up? I think it's a super mod for us short guys but the BSR looks like she's on a perch from what I have seen?

Here's a picture of my bike with the Corbin touring pillion seat. I typically just run the solo. The height difference isn't all that much different than a typical touring saddle. This setup is closer to how a softail would be with regards to the height change from rider to passenger. The wife doesn't think it's much different from her perspective compared to other bikes I've had.

How is the comfort level of that seat? We do a lot of long long rides. Are there many options available if the seat doesn't fit you?

I had my solo seat made at Corbin. The pillion was also custom made at Corbin but is based from their standard touring pillion. It's very comfortable.

Did you have to take the bike to them?
