Oil Temperature Gage What are you using on you CVO?

Stopped by the dealer today to have them remove the air temp Gage and add a matching Oil temperature Gage. The dealer said that part number 75320-05A will not fit the 09 and up FLHXSE but it will fit the FLHX? So anyone have any experience with this? if you have a dash mounted oil temp gage in place of the air temp gage on your 09 or later street Glide COV what are you using? Thanks! ~~ Yale

Yale, did you ask him why?
Will fit the standard Street Glide but not a Screamin Eagle, WHY?

It'll physically fit and function.  Just isn't a visual match.  Sort of like Chip and Dood.  Close; but not quite alike.

To the eye it sure looks like a match. I looked it up on Harleys site and the note says " Will not fit '09-later FLTRSE3, FLHXSE and FLHTCUSE4/5." Thats what he read and said Sorry they don't make one that will fit......I know I have read here and other places of many who have changed them out...... :nixweiss: So If someone has a part number to one that will fit let me know. The gage looks to be a perfect match... :-\

The thickness of the clearcoat will not let the gauge seat properly
