Mounted the tour pack to the George Anderson relocation plate, also had to slightly modify the arm rest plate to make it work on a CVO.  Then removed stock wheels and replaced them with 2015 Aggressor wheels/tires, etc.  Pretty much done now, other than waiting on custom horn cover from Joe to finish it off.  Like the wrapped fenders he is doing, but gotta stop somewhere. Ha, did anyone every say this gets addictive?

Nice to see the GA Relocator find a good home. Nice Job.

Thank you Simon.  Nice option to have to move it back.  Plus adding the arm rest makes for a very happy wife :)

I took the Tour-pak off today and install the 4-point detach rack mount. I got the plate relocated for the most part but I need to pick Dave or Joe's brain and determine which wire I connect the plate holder LED lighting.

I took the Tour-pak off today and install the 4-point detach rack mount. I got the plate relocated for the most part but I need to pick Dave or Joe's brain and determine which wire I connect the plate holder LED lighting. I know I want the running light so I figure it's either the red/yellow or the blue. I am guessing red/yellow but waiting for a thumbs up or down from the definitive source.

Looks great.  :2vrolijk_21:

As far as the LED lighting goes take the taillight off and there is a blank 3 pin connector next to the where the tail light plugs in. Looking at the connector the inside pin is the positive and the outer pin is the negative. Leave the middle pin empty. When the bike is in the run position the LED gets power. HD sells the individual pin connectors (73191-96). After I connected the pins I used some clear silicone and partially filled the connector and once set it will keep the pins from vibrating loose. If you ever need to take it apart the silicone is pretty easy to dig out.

Looks very good Simon as far as the wiring exactly like Joe said.  My pictures I sent should make it clear, they are also in my thread.

Great idea for your custom plate... I had the same idea, but it was already taken so I had to go with "2ORN"

Nope, stereo works just fine only 2 fewer speakers. I think the amp might be up front under the shark fairing. The '11 fltruse had the amp in the rear.

Simon,

You are correct, the amp for the rear speakers in in the fairing on 14 and newer CVO RG, and Limited.

Thank you Simon.  Nice option to have to move it back.  Plus adding the arm rest makes for a very happy wife :)

Are those the HD rests?
Can your wife put "weight" on them?
My wife likes to use the backrest as a lift point when we see a bump. I added speaker pods and mounted them up against the backrest to give it added support because of that.

Yes they are, HD. .  They will easily support her arms, I would recommend putting her weight on them.
Most of the time, your already across the bump before you can react quick enough anyway.  They say the fitment is not for CVO,
all I had to do was to notch out two screw access holes to run the tour pack bolts though.

Over the years I have gotten pretty good at reading the road when BSR'ing. I see something and just give a quick "body move" and she knows to brace herself. We can probably minimize 9 out of 10 bumps this way.

It's the big ones she sees coming. She will lift her butt off the seat using the arm rest extension on the back rest.
