New shoes.....25000 miles.  Front still had a little but the rear was gone.

Wait! Clarification needed... Does "shoes" mean Tires, or possibly Brake Pads?

Only one of those seems likely.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought shoes were brake pads and sneakers were related to tires.  But hey what do I know.

I can see getting that out of the pads ( I can't ride too hard, stop fast ), but no way are the DUNFLOPS GOING THAT FAR. Besides shoes have always meant brake pads ( old term brake shoes).

Just put my Screamin eagle Logo on Tour Pack.  Painted the insert the color of the pinstripe on the bike for a little contrast.  May regret and wished I had went with the primary color or the deep burgundy, time will tell.

I can't say since everyone here knows I have had more Bushtec's than anyone should have.  Had I put the logo on each of them I would be out around $2K in logos. 

Every time I think well this is the one another one catches my eye and I buy it.

If you are going to keep it and can get your hands on one I think it would look great on the back.
 
I have two CVO covers and have been toying with taking one of them and making it fit a Bushtec trailer.  I would have the logo on top.  My problem is I have had Turbo 2's, Quantum's and Roadstar's and each takes a different style cover. Also I would want to somehow get it to be waterproof as well. On top of that I really like the retro look of the Entourage. So until I settle in on a trailer no cover will be made.

Thursday picked up my SERGU from having all the Hail damage fixed.  Looks great, then I rode it home the long way going over foothills parkway.

Yesterday I took the SERK our for a little 200 mile Fall colors ride, Little River road in Smoky Mountain National Park had very nice colors.

Hope to ride today, but looks like weatherman is wrong again.   Was suppose to be clear and 0% rain, very cloudy and now calling for rain.

Another rough day here in San Diego.....I rode over to Fiesta Island this afternoon.  It's one of the few places left in California where you can actually drive on the beach, right down to the water and it's in the San Diego city limits.











The girls have the bon fire and b-b-q going while the guys are out on the bay on their wave runners...

Inattentive motorist was cited for illegal left turn; here's hoping GEICO make a fair offer on the payout so we don't get into a stare-down

This is what's left of a 2013 CVO Road Glide after a inattentive motorist made an improper left turn into me last December on my way to work, I was travelling in the opposite direction from the final resting position of the bike.  I recovered every dime I paid for the bike plus the thousands in accessories and clothing.  No complaints about the GEICO claims process from me.   I'm insured with USAA/Progressive by the way.

Thats great to hear as I just changed my mc insurance to Geico last month. Still hoping I won't have to use it though

Why not ride in the rain?  I don't get that at all. Just dress for it.

I ride in the rain frequently.  I have left my home in the rain to go to Daytona, just over 600 miles and had it rain all the way.

However, like yesterday, I do not suit up to go run the curves in the rain with wet leaves on the road.

That said I did get out for a short 2 hour ride yesterday, just very light sprinkles while I was out, no rain gear.  some of the roads were pretty slick with leaves.
