With all the shooters we have here, what is the opinion on Kimber? I have never owned one but have a friend with a Pro Carry Stainless laying in a safe that has never been fired. I have handled it a little and like the way it feels. Any thoughts on the reliability of Kimber's 1911 stuff?

Kimber used to be my 1st choice and is a great gun. I had a Super Match that was a tack driver and never had a feed problem in the 5 years I carried it. I would carry it again in a flash. True customs feel better in my hand and when they are fired, but also are $$$$. I have 4 Wilson's, 1 Brown and 1 Baer......I came into a little unexpected money, so I spent it :cucumber:
BTW: Kimbers ain't cheap. That Black Ice mjb showed above will tear 2 grand to shreds

That is kind of what I was wanting to hear. This is pretty much a base model Pro Carry 2 in Stainless. No snag ramped sights. $800 range. Perfect for I am wanting the gun to do
