Title: Extended Saddle Bags Gone?
Post by: Sierramadre on August 19, 2013, 03:08:16 PM

Have they dissapeared?  From the pictures it looks like they are only on the CVO Roadking in '14...

They were only ever on the SERG, SESG, and SERK... and there is only an SERK for 2014.

They are on the 14 SERK.

They have never been on the CVO Ultra

Think they should have added them to the Ultra though, especially with the redesign

In the future, I suspect that we are going to see less and less of the styling innovation that began in 2009 with the SERGC and continued with the SERGs, SESGs, and SERKs... and more and more automotive-style focus on manufacturing efficiency, common parts, and cost reduction everywhere. I think this will come at the expense of real creativity in the design of future Harley SE models.

I think that the days of the really COOL SERGs, SESGs, and SERKs are sadly drawing to a close. The future will become irrepressibly drab and awful - like this little accountant fellow - because the bean counters are firmly in charge in Milwaukee. Stockholders are more important than customers.
