Either muted the prompts or you may have to go to the main menu and look under the feedback settings and enable the prompts. It's happens on my '15 from time to time.

This happens when you ride faster than the speed of sound. It's just physics..... :2vrolijk_21:

Check your speaker menu. Connect to headset or speakers, whichever application you are using at the time.

every since the dealer updated mine to the .1 rev of software it has cut off the Nav prompts almost every time I turn the bike off. I haven't updated to .2 yet so hopefully it will fix it and also sometimes my text message function will lock up and it gets hung in prompt vol like its talking to me but nothing else happens and I have to turn the bike off to get it to reset with this rev.

Try turning the volume up while the prompts are active.
Just like the intercom, sometimes the volume drops do to rider error, like when I try to lower the volume of the radio than the wife begins to talk, it will switch to intercom volume control therefore lowering entercom volume instead of the radio. It has happened to me with the NAV the same way.

I had mine updated to the braille version. The "original" touchscreen technology.

Nothing, the Infotainment screen is programmed to hate us each & every one and does stuff like this to vex us sorely and in some cases silently.
Check the Nav prompts setting, make sure they are enabled. On mine they turn off randomly for no reason other than the vexing.

In addition to ensuring the NAV prompts are on, make sure the previous destination has been closed out (stopped). Several times I've diverted from my programmed destination and didn't stop it manually, so no prompts when i put in a new destination.
