OBB mentioned the two side vent doors are gone on the 2020 RG line?  That would be a big issue for me.  I hardly ever opened the top vent but kept the sides open in the Summer but closed in the Winter...guess you can't now.

I guess a couple of old t-shirts can be stuffed in there in a pinch.

Or I can take the other bike :huepfenlol2:   Or I think they have a black 19 in stock.....Not sure I want another black bike.  :nixweiss:

Wonder if they could be added if I wanted to

I can tell you where they won't go. On any bike I own. Those look hideous.

IF, MoCo didn't do their normal "strip stuff off the bike and charge more for less" and I wanted a new bike this year, that blue one you're looking at would be it. Beautiful bike :2vrolijk_21:

agreed, but the real issue on the CVO RG for 2019 is the 21" front wheel and not much tire to absorb the bumps....think I am going with the Limited.

I should have read your original post a little better and caught it was the 19 CVO RG,  Yes, there is not much tire.

My 19 CVO RG lack of rubber on the tire up front is not much worse than the 13 CVO King with the 19.  However the King rides and handles way better due to 13 inch Ohlin shocks in the rear for more travel and better bump dampening.  The Front is Legends Axeo which really handles the bumps better.  I will probably up grade the suspension on the RG, then the front will be closer to the King, but not quite as good.

Congratulations on the new RG Limited.  Make them throw in a Heal Shifter.  I know the lower vents do not close, for some its a big issue, for me it would be no issues, I have never closed them on my last three road glides, I ride year round into the 20's.

I rode the 19 CVO a couple and both time thought it was terrible like ridding a solid rubber tire. I would thing the limited with the touring suspension would be much better.

what kind of helmet do you wear?  I haven't had this bike over a winter yet, but I did get caught in a monsoon rain storm and before I shut the lower vents, water was just being blown right into my face.

Hope you went with the new cornering ABS package on your 2020? That would be a must on a new bike for me.

Best reason to go with a 2020. If it saved your beacon once it's worth the price of the whole bike. Your going to like the hill hold feature too.

Smart buy on your part. Sadly, the CVO takes style over function. As you said, larger sidewalls are a good thing. Better ride, handling and frankly safety.

Let us know what you think when bike comes in.

May not even notice to hill hold feature. I heard that you have to engage it somehow I think. Been riding forever without it....but who knows....
