can't believe I acctually had a chance to go riding on new years day. temp in Buffalo area was 49 and dry. no salt on roads. calling for low 50's near end of week [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Not a bad idea. 250 up there, 250 back, and 500 (another's day riding). I can have it dyno'd when I get home! Talk to me in 2 weeks. I can't believe this weather's gonna last here, let alone upstate. You used to only get 3 seasons up there. July, August and Winter!

What's the rule for members that register and never come back?

?? When I registered, I wanted the name Screamin Beagle......but it was taken....and since I'm a Linux guy, I just added the _ to get close to the name I wanted. Screamin Beagle hasn't posted since forever.........what's the ruling?

I'd like to free up some stage names so new users don't have to take their second or third or fourth choice, or make up some dumb sh$t just to get in.

Not the point.....I sure as hell don't want it......But I would like the Screamin Beagle rather than the _Beagle.......not to mention, when I signed up for yahoo acct's, paypal acct's, ebay acct's....it's like an hour process to find a "stage"name to play....People take these names and never show up again.jmho

As long as they stay a member the name is protected. Once someone becomes an "Ex-Member" then that name is released.

I'm with ya Beags. I wanted Thumper, but it was taken by somebody who has posted once......I think. OK. Whatever. So I reverted to the name of my old Ultra. My 17 year old daughter names all of my bikes. The Ultra was named Bagger. She named the SEUC Thumper. Somehow I got lucky and was able to get a vanity license plate with THUMPER on it. BAGGER wasn't happening, so I didn't bother. Actually I was surprised to get Bagger on this forum. But I still want Thumper.
