New Bike, Not really !
« on: August 24, 2006, 10:25:05 PM »

I had cataract surgery on Monday morning and this afternoon was the first time I felt up to riding the bike. When I got the bike out of the garage, I couldn't believe the green colors were so different. The dark teal is much darker and the light teal is totally different. Much more green. I had noticed that white surfaces were brighter. They did my right eye Monday and will do the left one next Wednesday. White looks yellow in my left eye. Cataracts slip up on you and you just don't notice the color changes. I was just amazed and had to share with somebody. It is great to be able to read the road signs along the interstate again.

Nice bike! (You knew that)  When your vision starts to get impaired, you really miss it.

Ride on, GTX!
