Just looking over the bill from the dealer, I'd say they are oil dampened. I paid a little extra for some fork oil and 2 new seals. And 2 socket bolts I gotta laugh. The part # for the seals ends in. -48. Think there've been around a while? That was all I see here. I do like the improved ride.

I think the fork oil is just to keep the innards slippery and lubed up. The cartridges are gas filled as I remember.

TN, sorry I missed CVOSTU's comment about the HD cartridge kit. I have followed this but had a grey hair moment and thought he was talking about the Mono-Tubes.
