Title: Hello from Syracuse
Post by: Pitsquid on November 02, 2007, 11:35:54 AM
Just joined the cite and so far very impressed with the info.and outlooks from all members. I own an 07 SERK which I totally am impressed with. Haven't done many mods yet-just some bolt on accessories and exhaust. I used the 2-1 Rinehart with SERT and then had dyno tuned here at the dealer I work for-Performance Harley. Decent horse and torque increase- 8HP and 12ft/lb torque with tune. We adjusted the air/fuel mix and throttle response and with the increased low end torque that the exhaust is designed to gain-man this thing gets it right out of the hole!!Very anxious to get some feed back from you guy's with similar bikes to see what works and does not work for your bikes. Glad I found this cite and look forward to hearing back.

Welcome to the site. Thanks for being upfront as to what you do ( and most likely why you joined)

Given the demographics on this site, I'd have to say you're smart to have joined. So, since you were upfront, I will be.

Are you offering the membership here anything in way of discounts for supporting your dealership ?

Welcome from Wisconsin!!  You may need to change the seat if you are taller than me (5'4").  The leg length is too short and cramps up my husband's legs when he sneaks my SERK out of the garage. :coolblue:

We'll have to get together -us CNY'ers and do a ride. Thats a great picture overlooking Sylvan Beach. Beautiful bike by the way !! My buddy owns a dockside bar/grill in Constantia- The Old Boathouse and every summer does a poker run with boats and bikes and wants me to be the pace bike this coming summer, so I would like to get as many riders together as we can. Look forward to meeting the neighbors!!

Well, once the MA, CT, and ME boys see this, this thing can get big! If that's the case, we should try planning something now. My preference is before Memorial Day or after Labor Day, but will go with the flow. Do you guys have something in mind already? I can see 25 bikes showing up for this! Maybe some people too! ;D

Have to be between the holidays for me.Booked for a month before Memorial Day & leaving for a west coast ride Sept. 15th for a month.Make it work for the majority.I'm sure I'll have more peace at home if I don't do another ride this summer. But then if it's only 2 or 3 days ??

I tried looking on the member map to see all the CNY members but it's not working again.  I remember a thread here a few weeks back about that.....    :confused5:

It seems there are several new, recent members in the Syracuse, Rome, Utica area......

We'll do something for sure...

i have only put the vandh slip ons with turn down tips thinking of doing the kandn filter and v&hfuel pak undecide on the true duel head pipes.have you had any of the head gasket problems on your bike.

No gasket problems yet, not many miles though. Definitely do the true duals and I'm switching to the RF2 air kit-check it out at RF2performance.com- new design. They use a K&N hi-flow filter.
