I have a new '09 Fatbob CVO that I will only ride solo. I want to get a single passenger seat and remove the rear foot pegs. The belt side is the probem as the "chain" guard shares a support that is part of the peg. Anyone have any ideas of how to keep the factory chain guard but remove the peg? Thanks, Steve

StevieMo,
I can't help you w/your question, but hopefully another SEDFatbob owner will be able to. However I would like to welcome you to the site. When you get a chance you should go to this board - New Member Introduction (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php/board,30.0.html) and start a thread to introduce yourself.

I didn't even realize that was the set up til i lookes at mine. after looking at the 'bracket used to mount the midsection of my pipes,,, should be a simple enough trick to fab a similar bracket. seems a simple L bracket would do the trick, but maybe a flanged bracket can be hidden by the guard save for flange to the frame. And powdercoat finish,, Hmmm,,

some thing hit me last nite going thru parts catalog. some passenger items list passenger pegs and mount as a required accessory,,,, well,, if those Bobs dont have stock pegs and mounts,,, what are they replacing? I haven't seen a Bob w/out pegs yet, maybe the original equipment mount for a solo setup would fit. hmmm,,
just a thought,,,
