Title: Road Trip?

i will be leaving on Aug 2 for a trip from Marlborough MA to P.E.I. Canada.  

where are you going this summer?

Not as fancy of a graphic, but this is our planned trip to Niagara Falls leaving the wed. after July 4 (most of the rest stops just happen to be at Harley Dealers [smiley=laugh.gif]):

The route itself is about 1470 miles...

Day one of riding is the longest, 12 hours and 545 miles to Kingston, Ontario...we may stay in the area 2 nights so that we can tour the thousand Island area.

Day two of riding takes us to Niagara falls, 380 miles...we will stay here 2 nights so we can spend a day touring the area.

Day three of riding takes us to my wife's parents house in Schenectady, NY, 245 mile,

Day four of riding brings us home, 200 miles.

that was 1900+ five days of riding check out http://drej.naitram.net/pei03/neal/ the first five pics have the daily breakdowns, longest day was first day heading home 538 miles almost 15 hours in the saddle, i havent finalized routes yet but were heading to halifax NS the last weekend in july first week of august this year

Doh!  I should have looked at the date of the posts!

I like Nova Scotia a lot...my wife and I took a 10 night Canada/New England Cruise with our parents last October...left from Boston went up to Quebec City and back.  It rained while we were in Halifax, I hear it does that a lot up there and it was Columbus Day...a Canadian Holiday so not much was open.

Wow that came out a lot large than anticipated!!! The preview function does not work for images, only text!!! If one of the moderators wants to resize that image go for it!!!
I will be taking that trip in June for bike week (fathers day weekend) i'm leaving on the 12th [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I will be taking two trips, one a four day blast straight out to my son's in Frisco Colorado and back, 1700 miles round trip and a second one in a loop out to my son's then up though colorado, wyoming and some of Montana, then to Sturgis and back home, 2500-3000 miles wherever it amy take us

Here's the plan for my summer trip... app 5500 miles :) From Atlanta, through Sturgis, into Monana, Yellowstone. Flaming Gourge, into Colorado and eventaully  back to Atlanta.

You're going to love a lot of places on that trip.  One that sticks out in my mind is riding into Denver from Green River........a beautiful ride that I hope to do again, someday.

roughly 1500 miles, this will be my first trip to Nova Scotia but my 3 trip into canada in the last 3 years

Two trips planned this summer. first to the Harley Rendezvous, 1st 'vous, skipping Laconia for it. Then back to work for three days and then off to Blue Ridge Parkway. Plan to ride it form Front Royal VA to Asheville NC unless we get bored. If time allows may get over to Tennessee, never been there. Any advice anyone has on this trip would be appreciaited.
