Vance & Hines
« on: August 11, 2018, 08:10:14 PM »

No issues with the with the pipes but for sometime I've been trying to identify what type of V&H muffler  they are.

What I do know is that they are  oval slip-one's but what mobile.

          V&H also have these ovals

Oval W/Duals,  Slash Cut Slip-on's,   Slash Cut Slip-on's W/Duels ,  Oval Slip-on's,

They where on the bike when I got it.  I've been also trying to get in touch with V&H to ask them too identify what model they are but haven't been able to find a home page with a contact.

Anyone with information on this would be a big help.

If you expand the pic you can see the pipe better .

Don’t know the model number but those are the older model ovals (no longer in production) I had a set on my bike before I switched to the Eliminator 400’s.  They sounded and performed great but I just wanted a different look and sound.  I sold them to a buddy who loves them and they work very well with his 95”

I'm also thinking Twin Slash ovals.  I had a set of Monster Ovals on my '08, and they did not have the inner piece that sticks out from the outer piece.

If they are twin slash  then the V&H fuelpak numbers are wrong. The numbers on the fuelpak map correspond with just oval Slip-on's

I've seen the fuelpak  mapping for Twin Slash Ovals  and the numbers are way different

Cheers SIKBIRD I'll have one for you  or two or three  :drink: for that.

I checked my fuelpak mapping and it is set up to the part number 16727

That one more off the check list of unknowns for my bike
