OK now I'm Little scarred!! I'm selling my 07 StreetGlide and getting a 08 SE RoadKing. I love the looks of that bike it fits me perfectly. Now what exactly do I need to do to it to insure as trouble free a life as possible. Pipes yes but what pipes. SE intake or K$N or something else? I don't know how to do anything except ride so I'd like to get this right the first time as I'll be broke after spending 30k on the ride itself. Thanks

just read all the posts here and find the right pipe/ac-tuner setup that seems to be for you and your wallet, BUT FIND a GOOOOD Tuner .
one who can dyno your bike for you, the way you want it, read, ask, I did and I am

Welcome aboard Bubblehead! Cool name!

Unfortunately, those 2 things don't go together very well!

For now, I'd sit tight. There's no tuning device available yet for the '08's. I wouldn't do anything to make it run hotter/leaner until you can have it tuned properly. You can replace the stock A/C elent with the K&N HD-0800, since you already have a SE A/C. But I'd wait on the pipes. After tuning devices are available, the skt's the limit man! Plenty of great information here. Try the Intake/Exhaust Section, SERK Section, and Twin Cam Section for starters! Good luck with your new SERK and enjoy the site!
