I understand there's better choices for long rides than my knit cotton boxers.What does everyone out there think the best underware is to prevent monkeybut??

corbin seat, wipe well, or buy a ass washer like Hoist!!! ;D

Seriously, Twincam makes a good point.  Monkeybutt isn't caused from your underwear......it's caused from your seat.  Get a Corbin and forget what monkeybutt ever was.  I finally surrenered and wished I had done it years ago.

Can't remember where I read it, but I understand that bike (bicycle) shorts are good for long distance riding. I'm thinking it's because of the material (spandex) and I believe some of them may even have padding (gel) in the back. :nixweiss:

Ex Officio boxer briefs is what I wear...they do make a difference, plus you can wash them out in the sink and they'll be dry the next morning.
