If a guy can justify a new transmission because of a $10 oil seal, why couldn't I justify a new engine because of fouled plugs?
As long as you can get it for $750 I don't see you having a problem. ;) :D

I checked with Cheri on that, Gary, and that $750 limit applies to chrome only.  Ken has no monetary limitation on maintenance and repair items. :2vrolijk_21:

Ahhhhh... He didn't tell me that... and all this time I thought it applied to everything. Thanks for setting me straight. :2vrolijk_21: Now when I spend I can blame it on Ken. ;) :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

I tried that in an attempt to justify the acquisition of.....you know......a Baker OD6 with 3.37 primary gearing........."Well Ken just put a D&D Boss, Wood's Air Cleaner and Air Filter, and a PC-V on the Red Bike and a garage door opener on the Yellow Bike, and........and.......and........and.......I have this impending leak, which might sprout when I'm far away from home, leaving me stranded.........."

No joy.   :(

I need a bonafide shifter shaft leak in the garage, making a mess, or it ain't happening.   ;)

I know Spydy.  That is but one area of many in which I need much work.  We're talkin' belt sander here.   :huepfenlol2:

Renea does a great job of keeping my "wants" in cheque, and balances them quite well with my "needs."  Nothing to do but get over it, move on...........and pray for a leak.   :huepfenjump3:

Henry,
May the leak gods smile on your Purple Bike and stay the hell away from my area. I don't need a new tranny of any leaks. ;)

 :huepfenlol2:  I know.  It is sorta.....sick.....ain't it?   :huepfenlol2:

Just a means to an end.

Spent about 150 miles on the Green Bike today, and that Baker OD6 coupled with the 3.37 primary gearing is so sweet.  I just know when I head to work on the Purple Bike Monday morning, I'm gonna instinctively try to hit a non-existent sixth gear.

Anyway, may all the bad juju, mojo, luck, fortune, and any and all other forms of evil brouhaha steer clear of each and every one of you......and me too, for that matter....except for the Purple Bike's shifter shaft seal.   :huepfenlol2:

I know exactly how you feel. When I get on my Deuce, I'm always looking for 6th.

Jim, I'm assuming these are for pre '06 Dyna and all '07+up BT's. If that's correct, or if any of them are different, do you have P/N's for the newer models? Thanks. :2vrolijk_21:

Check this link Howie: http://www.cometic.com/harleydavidson.aspx

It's Cometic look up.  Can even look up by OE number cross reference.
