Phantom Tracking Device
« on: January 02, 2006, 03:16:01 PM »

Has anyone had any experience/have a view on Phantom Tracking (www.phantomtracking.com) or other comparable GPS tracking systems for our bikes?  Dealership is recommending this service.

thanks

The unit is $700 and the monthly service is $12.00
probably a couple hours of labor

Seems expensive.

$144.00 bucks a year, seems expensive till you need it, then it's gonna be worth every penny. Especially if you get to go along on the recovery...
I guess the question is would you rather get it back after a theft or take the insurance check & buy a new one. Which raises another point... your insurance company may give you a credit for installling the anti theft device.. you may want to check
