There are as many different opinions about this as there are members on this site  :confused5: IMHO I am a big fan of the Red Line products  :pepper: Shock Proof for the Tans & MTL in the primary  :2vrolijk_21: both have been very good for me.

What oil should I use in my primary and transmission.

Primary - A good ATF (automatic transmission fluid).  I personally use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF.  ATF is specifically formulated to work well with wet clutches.

Trans  -  A good gear oil.  I personally use Redline Shockproof Heavy, and there are excellent products from many other companies as well.  Spectro and Bel-Ray are two I've personally used in the past that I can personally endorse.  75W90 is the standard viscosity, and you can go with 75W140 if you like for extremely high temperature operation.

Not only that, but the smell makes all those guys riding behind you hungry.  For more variety, you can try Popeye's oil or McDonald's oil.  If you want to get really slick, use a different one in each hole and you can trace leaks by taste!
