Agree...  I only bought one...it lasted about two months...   >:(

Even back when the oil bathed gauges were popular I never got in to them.  At least not the pieces mounted on the rocker boxes.  Also never at all interested in the dipstick mounted gauges.  A gauge needs to be up in line of sight.

You are right but I used it primarily for the oil level reading and not the temp.  But it was inconsistent even when it 'worked' and then it got oil up in the face and also fogged up.  POS as far as I am concerned - and an overpriced one at that!

lucky me , i walked in to a dealer, (not the one i bought it from)with my gauge in my hand , asked if he would back it up with  a new one, he says sure, how long have had it , i say 3 weeks,he walks over gets a new one  , takes my old one, says have a nice day,...he says why should i get ripped off for $149, :2vrolijk_21:
