We do a PM service on a semi truck for approximately $325.00 (40 qts oil, fuel filter, oil filter, lube, check fluid levels, adjust brakes)  and to 90% of the truckers, we are TOO HIGH..

I tell them to get the service done on their Harley at the dealer and then complain..     :cherry:

Sorry, I know this has nothing to do with this thread but I had to vent-been a long week and it's only Tuesday.

I'm an electrical engineer.  My time gets billed at around $100/hour.  I have a hard time paying that much for a guy that might not have even graduated high school to drain the oil out of my bike and replace it.  I know he's not getting payed 1/4 of that so the dealership is making at least $75 an hour for nothing essentially.  What a giant scam.  If you can read,  you can buy the service manual for your bike, all of the oil, filters and accessories to do it yourself for less than the stealership is going to charge you.  Once you've done it once, you don't have to buy the books again and it is stupid easy.
