Took a little drive through the country this afternoon (184 miles). I have Progressive monotubes going in on Wed and I have a set of the new 944's I may put on before we leave for the BBB. Going to try and make a adjustment on the stock shocks tomorrow and see how it rides but if it doesn't get better they won't be on the bike by night fall.

As far as handling...wow. the closest I havecome to this kind of ride would be my 08 Goldwing and it didn't hold near the straight line that this bike does if you let go of the bars. This thing acts like it drive it self

Congratulations on the new ride Crackers!         I guess we could call this a green gold sighting.     I'm curious to hear how you like the handling once you upgrade your suspension.

Does your new ride have the Premium Harley Rear Shocks?  If I screw mine up pretty tight, they aren't too bad, but I still think there is a lot of room for improvement.  I'm looking at Ohlins but not sure.  They are too expensive to be wrong.

I really like the looks of all three Road Glides this year.  I was at Worth the same day that you posted the pics.  Glad to see you get that great ride.  If you ever want to take another road trip, come on up to Albany.  I'm about 90 miles North of KC.

Did you have the Harley Premium Shocks on before (that's what I currently have)?  What did the 6's cost?  Do the 6's have the remote mounted supply tank?  If so, where did you mount the tank?

CowboyBagger yes it has the Premium Harley Rear Shocks. I picked the bike up this morning so I haven't played with the shocks yet. Where they are set now will break a kidney stone on every bump. Other then that it was a awesome. My ride today took me just outside of Albany as I went through Stanberry.

When I picked up my CVO, the preload was set at "zero", and I felt every bump until I turned the preload up to 50%

Set mine this afternoon to almost as high as they go. Much better ride but as soon as the mono tubes arrive I will put the 944's on

Pick up bike again in one hour. Installing Fullsac C pipes, Rineharts and TTS tuner. Next week after the BBB Progressive Mono Tubes and 944's on the rear...well those go on tonight.
