After a 7 month wait my bike finally arrived last week, so after installing some modifications I have be driving the whole weekend !!!!

The mods are , daymaker headlamp , oil cooler , other license plate holder, chrome cover for the air filter and USB port for the Iphone.
This winter I will install a jekyll&Hide exhaust while the department of finance told me that I had spend enoug and it is now her turn to spent some money.

Here the mod for the licence plate , I took the ugly piece of black painted steel of the MoCo of and replaced it by lycense plate holder of a VROD-muscle !!!

Congratulation, Breakout! Great bike. ;-) I have the same and I like your mods as LED Headlamp and the Kuriakyn USB connector. Myself I ordered a H-D power connector, but I'm thinking now to go for the USB alternative.

Is the connection Kuriakyn to USB waterproof? Do you use the original Apple cable or a special one to connect Kuriakyn to LifeProof?

BTW: Let me know, if your coming to Switzerland, once. We have to drink to our bikes.

The temperatures here in Holland have not yet reached the level that you need a oil cooler, but beginning of June I will go with the bike to the South of France, probably there I will need the oil cooler. I will let you know when I am back.

I dont know the part number, I only have the part book for the CVObreakout. I got the part out of the scrap container of the dealer. But I am sure your dealer will get you a part number (maybe they also have something in the scrap yard)

It is difficult to see if it is exactly the same as mine on the picture you have attached but it looks OK to me , what I have used is the vrod muscle 2012 Assembly.
The number is as follows:
67900108 LICENSE PLATE BRACKET w/ 69490-07, 69424-09, 69523-09
It is the part 22 on the attachment

Hello, just checked the license plate holder, it is all plastic so the steel part on your photo is not present on my license plate holder.

Your bike is awesome. That is by far the best color of the 2013 and 2014 models. I have a blue 2014 on the way. It's nice, but not as nice as yours. Oil cooler is a great mod. That's the first thing I put on any V-Twin.

Hi Breakout, one more question about your license plate holder from the vrod muscle: Did you have to drill holes for the mounting of the plate holder into your beloved Breakout? How do you have secured the license plate holder?

I drilled the holes in the plastic part to mate the holes already in the breakout for the piece of black steel.
I will never drill into the breakout, if it starts rusting and the paint peels off I am in big trouble,
I had a issue on the tank paint peeling off around the filler cap back in June,
and had to drive around with it the whole summer in Oktober the bike looked as a piece of scrap with rust all
over the Tank, the new tank (warranty) only arrived in December again a 7 months wait.

IT is the following windscreen , Quick-Release Compact Windshield-58413-06 .

And it works keeps you out of the wind and more important it keeps the bugs away from your teeth (I have always a smile on my face when driving the breakout)
