Over the Winter I bought an extra bike with a sidecar so Nala could go for some rides too. She loves it.

Earlier today we had to lay to rest our cat Chyna. We rescued her 9 years ago and from from about a week after we brought her home she was my little buddy. She followed me everywhere and at night time she either layed on my pillow next to my head or in my armpit. If lost pets before but this one is really hitting me hard. If I knew how to post a pic I would but just wanted to share.   :-\ she will be missed.

Sorry to hear about your loss!  They are definitely a big part of the family.

We lost our Mac this past July.  I finally found a fitting Urn for him. Took me a long time to find "just the right one"  he will forever sit in my basement bar called the Red Dog Saloon.

Sorry for your loss. They are family. I tell my dogs the only reason I go into work is to get them food. I do not know what I would doif it wasn't for pets.

One of the worries for adopting Greyhounds is if they'll be cat or other small pet tolerant.  The prey drive is strong with some of them.  My male is a huge (by Greyhound standards) 95 pound big boy.  The cat is really worried.

I don't think the cat is worried. Big guy looks like a gentle giant. Love the color.

Right there Rooster.  The cat is 16 and is really the only alpha animal in the house.  She's called Lincoln.  Full name is Lincoln Garfield McKinley.  Named after assassinated presidents for whom the fact of their assassination didn't raise their historical standing.

The other cat is named Dog.

The big boy in the picture is Marley.  Really is a happy gentle boy.  He's got a Greyhound buddy here named Juno.  They're both 11 with birthdays about 5 weeks apart.  They retired off different race tracks so didn't know each other until they met with me.  Quickly settled in together to be really good buddies.

Introducing Buster "the home wrecker"! He's a 6yo male Golden Retriever and smarter than a lot of folks. ;-)

I call him that as he sheds year round and its a lot of work to keep up after for a pet that lives indoors.

He loves the swimming pool though.
