Stopped by the local dealer today to make an appointment for the first 1000 mi service. I was surprised to see no cvo limiteds on the floor. This is one of the largest Harley Davidson dealerships in the world. I was told that the new 2014 cvo limiteds were sold out and they are not getting any more. If your local dealer has one and you have been on the fence, I highly recommend the cvo limited, as it is the best bike I have ever owned.  It's my understanding that for the most part the only thing changing are the colors and the price for 2015. Has anyone heard anything different?

Must be where you live.
Hell, I have been to several Dealers here in western PA, and they all have at least one on the floor.
One of the biggest shops in this area has three of them along with 4 used CVO's.
And they have been on the floor for some time, one of them is my old 2012, its been there a year now!!!
Was very surprised since the last three I purchased from them had to be Dealer traded.
My warranty on the 2013 anniversary runs out next May, I will be up for a new bike, I feel like there will be no problem having my choice of bikes this time round!

Guys, just looking to talk about what others are seeing in their area in regards to the new cvo limiteds. Here in Florida the capital of motorcycle sales in the U.S. I have seen the local cvo limited supplies dwindle. That means Harley has been selling the top end bikes and are even demanding a premium in my area. Good for Harley, and good for their buyers of premium dressed out Harley Davidson motorcycles. Harley announced the new Road Glide yesterday, and with its few changes in a year off can we expect any big changes to the cvo Limited? Or what changes should they make after hitting a home run with the 2014 cvo Limited? I can foresee colors and a price change, and maybe a bump up in compression with the addition of the wet head.

I do not expect anything special this year.
Like you said, def a color change, and FOR SURE a price bump.
I would think if they where gonna bump compression they would have done it last year like on the 103.
Just my thoughts.

When I see them in the show rooms, they look nice.
I like the new gps, saddle bag latches and more passenger room for sure.
Those are the things that I need.
Do not really care about the paint as I only keep till the factory warranty runs out then turn them in.
Wouldn't trust one a single hour past warranty ever again!!!  Water cooled exhaust valve or not.   


I will find out next May for sure.  I am def confident that there will be plenty in the show rooms for me to look at,
2014 and 2015 models.

The CVO Limited was a home run for sure.  I love mine.  I don't think that they are sold out as much as production has shifted to the 2015 models.  There are several FLHTKSE's on the floor at dealers here in Las Vegas.

By "sold out" I'm sure the OP means MoCo has sold out.  The dealer can no longer buy one. Makes sense since 2015 is around the corner.

Yes, exactly, whats left on the showroom floors are it for 2014. Some dealers like mine are sold out of the cvo limiteds. For most of the year you could go into the dealership and look at one in each color. By the way nice picture of the awesome blue cvo limited.

Doesn't seem odd to me this late in the model year the factory would stop making them... especially if there are some unsold sitting on dealer floors around the country. MoCo no longer supplying them encourages dealers to do dealer trades or those looking to visit dealers that have what they are looking for. If memory serves me correctly there is a time period prior to new model year bikes being released that the factory doesn't allow visitors so they can start making the new models.

The York plant tours won't resume in full til august 26th. You can still purchase all three colors in the central ohio area of the limiteds.

That's  sort of what I have been saying.
I have never seen so many of them on Dealer floors, New and used.
They me be sold out in Florida, but they sure are every where else!

I understand they are stopping a 2014 run to make 2015 bikes.

As Dude said, they have to stop production, this forces the Dealers to sell bikes in stock, or Dealer trade them out to make room for the 2015 bikes.

I also agree the 2014 was a big hit, can only assume MOCO overproduce them then, as there are soooo many left out there this late in the year.

Dealer i bought my CVO Limited at had all 3 colors on floor. Also said had some still in back still boxed up. Also had other CVO's on floor as well.
