Andrews recently posted specs for their new 48H cam , for reference the 54H numbers are up. attached is a dyno from a 96" with D&D fatcats
broad tip cams for baggers max torque at low and mid RPMs. -an option for those running 255's

255 specs per big boyz head porting calculator:
lift open close duration tdc lift
intake .550 6 25 211 .079
exhaust .550 48 7 235 .070
i like the 48h...more intake duration...more overlap...higher tdc lift...should make similar torque and pull longer than the 255

I'v been hunting around for a bit more on them , it looks as though Hillside was involved in spec' s .
Andrews recommends the 54 for larger motors, both are said to run cooler than the 255 and have a little broader curve.

The new offerings by S&S are right there with their "easy starts". There is a flood of these new short cams

There's a pinger in the works, I would not go there
The 54 would be better and Woods TW408-44 better yet
