So what; we're both gonna stop what we're doing and go run Roger's new bike shop?  At least one of us isn't used to being snowed in all winter.

then we open a satellite dealership

in ST THOMAS

I can run that one in the winter  :2vrolijk_21:

Don, I think that's my concern.

I would be the third wheel in a deal currently and I don't think it makes sense that way for sure.

Without any further concerns that would be enough to turn me of Rog.  Shared leadership or command is bad enough when leadership is actively involved.  When it's reliant on subordinate staff (that as a partner you'll likely not get 100% say in picking) difficulty is too likely.

Without regard to what HD might or might not be like to own under and what type of inventory or business models you might have to accept or endure the mixed leadership/ownership of a small dealership would be enough to move me off the project.  That single voice is often important.  Even more so when it's speaking for your money.

It would be nice to close for three months in the winter but I know that's not realistic.

I wonder if any of these make and money in the off season (rust belt)?

Follow my thinking here Roger.

Jenni for internet sales.

dOOd (the unflaming one) for chrome and custom design sales and installation.

GRC for Parts manager.

Naitram for internet services and bike testing.

hd-dude for percentage partner and general manager over all operations.

Spiderman for sales manager.

lilbear's Martha for motorclothes manager.

Me, for chithead customer to keep everyone on their toes.

Don for marketing director and dealership activities.

MikeR in charge of classic restorations.

How am I doing so far?

 :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Trying to resolve service manager position.

Any suggestions?

I nominate Hoist! for F&I manager - to sell all those extended w-----ties!!  bwahahahahaha !!!   :vrolijk_4:

Dreams aren't supposed to be real that's why they are called dreams. ;) When they become real that's reality and you have to have some more dreams.

Like dreaming you could actually get the FUGLY hinges replaced but knowing you can't "buy" them cause you'd look .............................well, stupid, which would ruin a dream (and a reputation).

Got them and still haven't gotten them replaced. I'm like a bull in a china shop if it can be "forked" up I can do it. :nervous:
