Indeed we do, Jacques.  I've emailed the guy direct in October - got his email address from Merlinii - and had a reply after a few weeks saying no details yet, and he'd get back to me, but nothing yet. (And Merlinii was last on the board in November).

One in the same maybe?

No, don't think so - but I wonder about the product.  Merlinii described it, but had no photos...

I contacted the guy in the beginning of Jan said he was looking for suppliers for the part to keep the =price down under $68 a piece.  I sent him an email asking him to build 2 for a bit more than the 68.  Said it would be 3 weeks and he would send me a paypal bill.  5 weeks nothing.  Seet him another email 2 1/2 weeks ago asking about the status.  No email returned.  I have given up on it.

Yeah, I know it's only a sideline for him, and not his real job, but the least he could do is respond better to genuine enquiries like yours and mine...

Exactly.

Do not tell me you are going to do something in a set amount of time and then when I give you more than enough time and ask you about do not ignore me.  I am a big boy and can understand if things like earing a living, family or health issue rise up.  But to totally ignore people is disrespectful.

There was another guy making these interfaces, his name is Jim Bissonette. I wrote to him and got this reply:

J at the time I am not selling the cable because of legal issues with another company that thinks I infringed on one of their patents. I hope to have this situation cleared up in a few weeks.

You can keep an eye on my web site, when you see them for sale I’m back.

http://home.comcast.net/~jbissonette1/site/

Regards

Jim

So, if he can't legally make the interfaces, who is legally making and selling them?

Wow.  Glad I bought mine when I did - it works great.  The original thread for the Bissonette harness... http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=34687.0

Just so there is no confusion on this. The contested product was not the products I was selling, it was a new product that was in the final design stage.

It was never illegal to sell my cables. It would not be illegal to sell the contested product, but it might get me sued and after one quad heart bypass under my belt I don’t need stress in my life.

I stopped selling the original cables on the advice of my lawyer, I think it was bad advice but he is the lawyer. I have since come to term with the other party and started selling again.

I’m now modifying the contested product to remove the Bluetooth and replace it with a cord, I still need to run road tests and find a supplier for some special parts before I offer it for sale.

Some of you asked me if I had a device that would allow the passenger to talk also. Well you asked and I designed and over the past 2 months have tested the new HD Dual Seat Bomm. It operates like the HD Bluetooth Bomm but now your Significant Other can also talk. :pineapple:

Don't forget the 15% discount for CVO members. Let me know you are a member as I have not perfected heading mind yet. I'm giving everyone 15% off this month so I can't offer an addition 15% for CVO memebrs.

I see you list postage to England, Jim.  What about us folks in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland?  ;)
